Scalp Micropigmentation is a process that is done in different stages and sessions.
FREE consultation – Whether you choose in person at our treatment facility, on FaceTime or What’s App phone call. We need to come to an agreement on what plan of action we are going to take.
Session One – Our client will arrive in on their first day of treatment. They will first fill out their consent forms and go over any pre-lying conditions and their overall health. We will then take the before photos, so our clients can see the difference at the end. Do we need to shave their heads? We ask clients to shave their head a day in advance but sometimes, people just don’t have the time. Fear not! As the team at Ultra Scalp Ink can shave your head prior to the first treatment! Our clients must then decide what they would like their hairline to look like. We have 3 options – the Natural, the Widows Peak and the Sharp. We will discuss with the client in the consultation and on the day of the first treatment which option they choose. Once we’re aware of what is chosen, we will need to map out the head with an eyebrow pencil. This will take time as it will need to be agreed upon by the client. Once the hairline is sorted, it’s onto the first treatment. At this point, we will have the pigment, needle and machine ready to begin. The first session is for the foundation of the density. Some people think we only cover part of the scalp but we cover the entire area that needs to be done. You just won’t have the same build up as the finished result, It will look like you have more hair follicles on your head and will look much better before the start of the treatment and is still undetectable!
Session Two – When our client arrives in the following week for their next session, we can see how well the ink took to the skin. Is there any fading? If there is, no need to worry! We can step it up and make it a bit darker. We always inform our clients we begin lighter and then go darker, if required. Remember – you can go from light to dark but can’t go darker to light! We continue to build upon the full density in the second session.
Session Three – The final result! Our clients come back approximately 4 weeks later for their final session. We finish off all areas that have not been covered and by the time you’re ready to leave, wallah! You’re a new man/woman! We will take our final images and they’re off to start their new lives.
